My Obs is a bit small and I have had difficulty when on a pair of steps which I need to reach and see through the Finder sometimes, then having to reach for the hand control on its no so flexible cable to move the scope ( always on the wrong side ) Well no more. My dear wife bought me for my 75th Birthday ( on my recommendation I might add ) a Carina SkyFi which I now use to control my Scope via my iPhone's WiFi using Carina,s Voyager App. which good on its own. It works beautifully. The WiFi connection works from a long distance so I will probable consider a warm room next with only the PC cable to consider. I found it in Astronomy Now mag January, under " Whats going to be Hot for 2010. Works on most telescopes and Mounts.

Hi Robin. A warm room ? If you are not frozen then I'm sorry but it's not proper astronomy and doesn't count !! Seriously, sounds like a nice set up. Have fun, Ed.
