What would Mars look like through a 80 mm telescope?

I just got it yesterday so I have no idea what I'm doing, or what I can even see.

Hi there. Congratulations on getting your scope!

Mars is receeding from us right now and is becoming very small and dim. You will see a salmon pink disc, but unfortunately not alot else at the moment.

Try Saturn - it really has a wow factor

Venus is also visible after sunset and will grow in size and reduce in phase over the next few weeks - a tiny Mercury is also nearby. Mars, though, is getting pretty small and losing that wow factor.

Have you seen the double cluster? Your scope would frame that wonderfully.

No I haven't seen the double cluster. What does it look like through the scope? All I've seen so far is the moon, and some stars that just look like tiny specs through the scope.
