syn scan az conecting it to computer

Hi i have a synscan az and i am trying to conect it to starry night pro 6 i can't find the drivers i was wondering if there was an idiots guide to doing this. it's driving me mad

Hi John

I have the same mount as you but haven't tried starry night pro. I use a program called stellarium 0.10.4 which i have no problems connecting to, and its free. I take it you have the necessary leads ie, Usb-RS232 or serial port on your computer. Let me know and I will see if i can help

Go to this site Ascom Downloads. Download the Ascom platform and Celestron telescope drivers. Once they are installed on your computer you will be able to control th emontrol through Starry Night.
