Astrophotography - axis drives EQ2

Hi

I have started off with the Skywatcher 130 with EQ2 mount. Looking to try out some imaging and wondered whats the best drive unit.

Not sure whether to go with a cheap and cheerful to start with, or look to upgade the mount to auto, which in turn will allow me to upgrade the scope in future.........

Would welcome suggestions.

Whichever way you go the limiting factor is the load (weight)capacity of the mount itself. This will dictate any future telescope upgrades. For imaging the mount is probably the most important piece of equipment. Take your time and keep one eye on the second hand market (UK Astro Buy and Sell).
