Anybody using the Manortronics Astro-fix locator and can comment on how good or bad it is?

I am wanting to use it on my 300p dob to help locate DSO's, I know I should learn my way around the hard way but a little help wouldn't go amiss on the very rear clear nights.

I was also looking at the Wixey digital angle guage as a half way measure.

Both seem to have a reasonable write up on ScopeTest.com Home Page and should help locate objects a little easier with the aid of Stellarium or a copy of Pocket Stars.

Any comments or other suggestions much appreciated.
