Which one???

Hi all

I'm a total noob to telescopes as i mainly find myself underneath a car so any help would be fantastic.

i have a budget of around 300quid. not much considering some go for 20k+

i have had a look around and the two i have found are these

Celestron Nexstar 90 SLT MAK Telescope Package

Skywatcher Skymax 127 SupaTrak Telescope

are these any good? or am i looking in the wrong places? lol

Of the two you have singled out I think the Skymax 127 is a much more capable scope - it's larger aperture (the diameter of the main mirror or lens) is much greater so fainter objects and more details can be seen.

What sort of interests do you have ? - there are lots of options around the £300 mark but it would be useful to know your preferences, if you have any.

im hoping to look at the moon, deep sky, jupiter and saturn. as well as solar activity when i can afford the filter too.

My main aim is to get into astrophotography as im already quite handy with the snapper
