More Moon Questions

Recommended Posts

OK, the moon rotates at about the same rate that it orbits the earth, so we always see the same side or face of the moon, does that mean in different parts of the world they see a different face?

is it just the way we see it with regard to crater distribution, are the craters randomly spread all over or is it as it looks, that there's more of a concentration in one part?

if so, why? Did the most cratery part come about from a group of impacting objects that were all travelling together, or is there another reason that most of the impacts are in particular areas?
