Hi all, thank you for the advice on my recently posted questions. I am new to astronomy, live in Glasgow and am very pleased to be part of your forum, it is a great place for advice from experienced patrons such as yourself. I am awaiting delivery of my 10" Dobsonian(first ever telescope). As someone who has not learned the sky yet i have ordered the relevant books, turn left at orion etc, and downloaded Stellarium but i was wondering if the Astro fix locater would be a good purchase? Does anyone own one? Does it work for finding objects? Any advice thankfully recieved.
