Moon/Mars conjunction.

The Moon passes about 6 degrees (12 Full Moon diameters) North of Mars. While this is not a particularly close passage, it does afford the opportunity to easily identify Mars. It also affords a nice sight as the Moon is near the Pleiades star cluster as well.
