augments on a TAL

the TAL 150p is my stocking filler but i fancy swapping out the focuser for a moonlite tri knob focuser, i know they can be fitted to all the main brands of 6inch and above (with the moonlite installation kit) but the TAL is not mentioned, do you think i am going to have an issue here

Possibly , but in my experience Tal scopes tend to be fitted out with very efficient "bits and pieces" , I would wait and see how I got on with the fitted focuser before considering a change.

IIRC the 150P's focuser is a lot smaller in size than most focusers, including the Moonlite so it'll probably be a good idea to contact your dealer before ordering and see if the correct mounting plate can be sourced.

FWIW, I wouldn't bother replacing it if all you're planning on doing is visual, the stock model works perfectly well. Enjoy the 150P, it was my first scope and they're superb bits of kit.
