M42 adaptor

Searching for Auto confirm adaptor for Eos 300D ..SO..Plenty of choice out there but can somebody please explain(not having the original manual for the camera)what this means.... EMF af confirm M42 to canon lens apdater. It is aperture pin stop down flange version ... to my untrained brain.. Thanks Rob

You might want to think about a Bahtinov mask instead, at least you could make one yourself too

but in a nutshell it's an XLNT method of focusing either a camera or an EP. They're easy enough to make or reasonably cheap to buy .
