orange glow

Tis was approx 19.45 GMT and waiting for partial thin cloud to disperse i caught sight of a quite a large bright orange glow on a N.E to SW direction in the direction of Jupiter slowly reducing in magnitude...so...did anyone else notice it? Rob

The only orange glow I saw were the lights of Cheltenham and Gloucester (the place not the building society)

oopps !! should have said object not glow! quite pronounced and faint short oval trail.Meteor from my limited knowledge is a streak...still wondering what...?
