How would you image reflection & emission nebulae?

I grabbed some Ha data of a nebula a while back that contains both emission and relection elements. I'm looking at adding some colour to it (assuming that I'll get a clear night this side of christmas!) but I'm thinking how to integrate the Ha data into it. Maybe use it as a luminence and add the colour over the top? Or perhaps use it as the Red channel data and grab some luminence? Maybe some other way?

If I get round to it, I'll have a play anyway but how would you go about it?

I agree with SteveL. Start by applying it to the red channel in blend mode lighten. You can also apply it sparingly in blend mode normal. When you use it as luminance do so very sparingly or things rapidly turn pink as a boozer's nose, with blue rings around your stars. I have tried eliminating the stars from the Ha by using Noel's Actions or a star layer to select them and then running the eraser over them at less that 100%.

Good game for a cloudy night...
