Imaging setup - Will this work...?

Having taken precisely 2 pictures with my DSI 2 C since buying it 3 years ago, I'm going to try again this weekend (BBC forecasts heavy rain, and the moon's at waxing gibbous phase, excellent)

so I'm going to put the DSI on my WO Zenithstar 66, and mount it on the tiltable camera bracket on my LX200 10".. i don't have rings for the zenithstar, but will the setup work? I'll guide through the LX200 (which is polar aligned).. I assume if I centre the WO and lx200 on a star, I can get the two scopes pretty much parallel..

I've made a rudimentary focusing cap for the WO, a tin lid with two holes in it.

any tips? PS - I've checked that the DSI will reach focus (with the star diagonal in) by testing it on terrestial objects
