Another one from last night. Pleiades

Had to give this a go with the ED120.

90 mins of 8 min ISO800 stacks.

Got some of the nebula from them and some nice difraction spikes direct from the scope.

Theres something in the image train generating those difraction spikes...

Can you see any "clips" showing in the lens cell?

was wondering, will have to check tomorrow as imaging again already. Might be a hair on the lens.

Although it is only happening on the REALLY bright stars. Never imaged the bright ones before, so 1st time i have seen them.

Doubt if its a hair...

The HHN image showed 6 spikes? I think it one place it could possibly be coming from are the spacers in the lens cell ...

They shouldnt really bet there or at least that noticeable from a frac...

To spike or not to spike that is the question....

Hope not, was a brand new SW ED120 and wasn't cheap...

Have to check tomorrow to see if I can see anything.
