Jupiter tonight through binos

Well pleased!

Despite my ****-poor eyesight I have just seen Callisto through a pair of 12x50s!

Confirmed the moon and position with Stellarium.

Seen two moons now (saw Ganymede last week).

Really do want to get a scope soon!!! Still, must wait till next month at the earliest....

Well done Jim I've often found observing Jupiter's moons over a period of time really satisfying. Just think, by the time you get your scope, you'll be pretty well used to observing the moons and will be able to get to it with a bit more experience than the average beginner
