Got a brief window of usable sky just before lunchtime - transparency was reasonable but seeing was downright bad, with severe boiling. Disc again quiet and proms were less notable than yesterday (Oct 4th).

The big prominence on the NW limb has shrunk a bit and is less bright but is still a sight to behold.
