Shutter speed woes

Hi.

Does anyone have any experience with a Samsung ES55 digital camera?

The manual says that the shutter speed can be altered to up to 8 secs. But the manual and the display on the camera give no hint or idea on how to do this.

Am I being a bit of a dunce and its to do with iso and exposure, both which I have found on the phone. I am scratching my head over this problem.

Night mode would probably be be a good place to start...

Billy, you are spot on. I just put it on night mode and tried it outside and it took an 8 sec photo.

The manual gave this setting only a 4 sec shutter speed, so I was not to sure, but the on-screen display shows 8 secs at a focal of 3.2
