Obsy Phase 2 complete

Spent the morning, with my good friend Ian Pass, digging out the foundations around the pier for the obs (he's a proper builder/stonemason, so can dig for England...I just cleared and bagged stuff up mainly).

Cleared around 4" down of 8ft x 6ft of turf/topsoil, levelled out etc... looks great. with the pier in the middle.

The builders are in v soon now, and then it's no more carting out gear, taking 25 mins to setup, align etc, and then watch the clouds roll in...it's park scope/EQmod and two minutes setup time (roll back the roof and power cycle/calibrate guider etc)

Getting very excited now...

Time goes damned fast around here! Seems like only yesterday you were complaining about nappies and no sleep... bet you can look back and say it was worth it though?
