Hi All :o

Just had a great 2 hours before the clouds rolled in, viewed Jupiter and 4 of its moons, alot clearer than last night. Then switched to cassiopia and on to andromeda. Whilst in andromeda i came across a milky "blur" thinking it was a mark on eyepiece i switched from 25mm to 15mm and it was still there, everything around it was clear and sharp. this "blur" moved in conjuction with everything else in that area. Have i come across the great nebula and if so how do i sharpen my view.

Speak soon

Just posted a reply in the post above this 'Frustrated Observer - what am I doing wrong' from Spence. Rather than repeat it here you might find what i said there helpful. The only way to sharpen up Andromeda is to take a very long exposure photo with a telephoto lens.
