I have an adapter post for a UA Unistar mount that I would like altered slightly so that it fits my Berlebach tripod better.

I would like the outside diameter of the aluminium post base reduced by ~1cm, and the overall length reduced by the same. It would be a handy job if I had the proper tools, but I don't have a lathe and milling machine lying around the house :D

Is anyone aware of an engineering workshop near Worcester that could do the job? I'm not even sure it would be cost effective if I found one... but I thought I'd ask.
