Rigel Quick Finder

Hi,

I've just bought the Rigel from FLO and was hoping someone could answer a couple of quick questions - I'm fitting it to a Skywatcher Explorer 200p on EQ-5 mount:

1. Is the double sided foam tape ok for holding the finders plate to the scope or would you recommend a small screw? (what size?)

2. Whats the best place to fit it: between the focusor and the 9x50 finder scope or on the right-hand side of the finder scope?

The tape is fine (i have one base on my Flextube and another on my Williams 66) , as for placement if you have space then between the finder and focusser seems to be a popular place.

Oh you could always remove the finder plate and bolt the Rigel base down in the Finders position, but you would loose the finderscope

Thanks for the quick reply I'll try the tape, and go for in between the 9x50 and focusser. I was having a bit of trouble with just the 9x50. So hopefully I can star-hop easier and get close to objects with the rigel then use the 9x50 for closer adjustments.
