M31, M110 and a meteor

While I was enjoying a quick ciggie in the Designated Smoking Area (garden) lastnight, I grabbed the bino's and had a quick squiz round. I was pleased to find M31 just above our rooftop. Keen to see what the view would be like through my newish 8 inch reflector, I quickly set up and wasn't disappointed. Best I've had so far with M110 easliy visible as well.

To top off a nice 15 minute session, a bright meteor went straight through M110 at 22:05.
