Something for the weekend?

All,

the weather forecast for Saturday night is good so I'm going to try some deep sky imaging. Would appreciate any suggestions for targets. I'll be using an unguided vixen mount with C80-ED and canon 300D.

The target will need to be in the west or south (from the UK). I was thinking about M27 as I eyeballed it on Monday night

Hi Alan what about M13? That's pretty well placed around 11pm I think.

Or perhaps try some widefield and try and catch a Perseid (know it's not deep sky but could be coo!)

Thanks for the suggestion Amanada, it's a bigger target and bright. Maybe try that and if I have any time left over a shot at M27
