Les Granges Messier22

Recommended Posts

Hi Christine,

:) I've just visited your blog to have a look at M22 but couldn't find your image. I must be missing something lol - I was looking for it ~ in the sky ~ the other night and couldn't find it then either! :)

Sorry, I am still very hopeless with things like PS and DSS so can't help you get your colour back, but I look forward to seeing your image when I find it - Les Granges seems to have excellent skies, I'd love to go there!

Hi, welcome to SGL :)

Can we see the pic? You can upload it to SGL.

There are some tutorials on how to get the best out of your DSS stacked image on here. Dont worry, all that lovely colour hasn't gone anywhere, it just needs bringing out! :)

Hi

I had a quick go with your jpeg, and it shows that there is colour in there.

Of course it would be better to work from the raw files rather than a jpeg.

To do this in Photoshop go here:

Image > Adjustments > Match Colour

Then push up the intensity.

This is a good way of increasing saturation, without adding additional noise.
