mike.brightmore Posted August 1, 2009 Share Posted August 1, 2009 The Ring Nebula (M57) is almost directly overhead in the constellation Lyra. It is faint (Magnitude 9) and not that easy to locate. Look for the bright star Vega (one of the three Summer Triangle stars) and you are almost there.
