16mm UWAN with X2 Barlow

Can anyone confirm this combination works OK for general 8mm observing. (The barlow is a Shorty Plus)

I'm thinking about sacrificing my 8mm and 17mm Hyperion for a 16mm UWAN (/ Nirvana)

I too would be interested to know about this. I have the 8 and 17mm Hyperions and have been thinking of an upgrade. The 17mm is great for me in my scope so i was wondering bout going for the 7mm UWAN first. Would the Barlow make a big diff or could you get away with the one eyepeice? Suppose the next question would then be which one (barlow)?

I think there's someone going to do a review of the Nirvana eypeices which I am looking forward to reading! I wait with baited breath.:)
