FT Focuser identification on Lunt

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me if there is any lettering on the focuser that differentiates the FT focusers from the standard crayfords on the Lunt 60 models? I only ask because one has come up 2nd hand but it's hard to tell whether it has the standard focuser or the FT one.

Thanks.

Make sure it's the new type of etalon coating, and also that the B600 can reach perfect crisp foc us at F25 or higher. It should easily do that.. (check with a CCD, not your eyes if you can)

Hmm. Seems we've jumped a bit here. It's a B1200 and I don't image! The only reason I was concerned about identifying the FT focuser was that there was an advert placed which specified it as a FT model, but the product code was for a non-FT model. Investigation ensued and it was identified as a non-FT model.

Thanks though for the tips, but I'm 95% visual observer... so far.... :)
