Philips SPC900NC and PHD issues

Recommended Posts

I am fairly new to autoguiding and am having issues with my camera interfacing with PHD.

With everything setup, the "live" image is cyclically blocked off by a white screen - sort of like the flickering image that one sees when a tv screen/monitor is recorded with a camcorder. As a result, the star gets "lost" partway through an imaging session and all of my attempts at >30 sec imaging have not yielded a single good image.

I have tried increasing the refresh rate, changing the exposure length and the pause between images, but this doesn't work. There are no problems when using the camera with Guidedog or K3CCD, but I prefer PHD as it autocalibrates for backlash.

Does anyone have any ideas as to the problem?
