Does anyone have experience of using a fast Dobsonian with a zoom eyepiece?

I ask, as I have 250mm/1250mm dob and am trying to work out which eyepieces to get, having only the 26mm 2" which came with it and two cheap higher power 1.25" ones, kindly gifted to me.

The 8-24mm zooms (Zoom Eyepiece Test by Ralph Bell) look tempting, but would they work well with my scope?
