Astrophotography,

Recommended Posts

Hi all, my DSI photography results are poor primarily because I am not using an equatorial assistant & now is the time to take the plunge. However should I purchase an equatorial wedge or a complete tripod/wedge such as EQ6 or HEQ5. I recently obtained a LX90 10" from a member & if I purchased a HEQ5 for arguments sake would I lose any of the advantages currently enjoyed with the Meade go to utilities ?. I have been offered a Meade Ultra Wedge for £225 but I don't want to end up with something that will give me inferior oportunities. Your help & advice would be appreciated.
