About to order my Evostar ED80 DS Pro.

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody, I have finally decided to buy a Evostar ED80 DS Pro for imaging and visual observation, at long last. I'm buying a Opticstar PL-130M COOLAIR mono guide cam with the scope as a package. The guide cam is compatible with PHD Guiding, so it should work with the EQMOD set up. One small question, I'm selling my Celestron C6-S XLT OTA to fund this purchase, am I going to see a lot less with this new scope, e.g. DSO, nebulas and galaxies, how will this scope compare to my C6-S on the planets and the moon? It will mostly be used for imaging but also for observing. Thank you for any comments and advice.

Thank you.
