vdB 123 and Sh2-68

This part of the sky is not particularly high here, and prominent in mid-summer when there's no astronomical darkness around. So a bit tricky - an attempt I made last year was just too washed out. This is less so - not bad for a wide field, but soft if you look too  closely!

It's pretty much a broadband target, but I wanted to bring out the planetary nebula Sh2-68, so aimed to enhance this with narrowband. Needless to say, the clear sky time here was not going to be enough, so I booked some time on Pier 11 at Roboscopes to get some dual narrowband data for this enhancement. Perhaps a bit incongruous having that bright blob there!?

2 panel mosaic - RASA 11 on CEM120, ASI2400MC Pro, 304 x 20s (1h 41m), captured 4th and 28th July.

plus single panel - Tak 106ED, ASI2600MC pro, Antlia Alp-T Ha/O3 5nm, 116x180s (5h 48m) from Pier 11 Roboscopes
