QHY Filters

Folks,

I have a set of QHY LRGB filters - the ones Modern Astronomy sell. Well I have sombidy interested in buying them but he is asking if they are IR Blocking? As they are LRGB I would assume they are for imaging as thus are IR blocking, but does anybody know for sure?

I believe they are not IR/UV blocking.

hi

they are not ir blocking, so the ir filter has to sit in front of the rgb when colour imaging so it has to do 2 jobs

luminance imaging as well as making the colour filters ir blocking

Hmm..... I just found this webpage, does it not indicate that they are IR blocking when you look at the spectrum response?
