Starry night help !!

Woke up today to find that something odd had happened during "sleep" mode with the lappy. Thunderbird was missing ! and now SN says it can't connect to telescope cos the plug-ins aren't there when clearly they are.

I've uninstalled and re-installed all to no avail

SN pro plus 6 v6.2.3

Tried to install SN 5 v5.8.3 same problem.

How can I get Sn to recognise the plug-ins ??

Okay running SN 5 Pro on the lappy (cos it's not so hungry) and SN6 P Plus on the PC.

BLO*DY Quicktime somehow managed an update to 7.4--now do you remember !

Of course with the 6.2.3 the fix is in built, with the 5.8.3 7.4 QT still knacks it up !

As for what's happened to Thunderbird
