Short Session 12/06

Recommended Posts

I managed to get out for a very short session last night. I had been up since 5am so knew it wouldn't be a long session.

The Moon unfortunately moved behind a roof before I got a decent look at it.

All these observation were with the ST80 and a 12mm Pentax XF eyepiece giving x33.

18 Lib STF1894AB. A wide pair of uneven magnitude. The primary is orange and the secondary id blue-grey. Part of a curve of 4 stars. 17 Lib is nearby.

Virgo STF1807. A neat pair of evenly matched yellow stars. Part of a right angled triangle.

Virgo STF1833. A neat pair of yellow stars with a small difference in magnitude.

Cheers

Ian
