Bank Holiday Plasma Cascade

I've read descriptions of this phenomenon before, but always wondered how accurate they were. I wonder no more! Absolutely mesmerising, watching a 200,000km 'waterfall' of plasma falling back to the solar surface.

And, on the opposite limb, a super surge prom erupted. My sketch shows it in the early stages.

Great sketch - the waterfall-like structure was fantastic and I also watched as much as I could of the evolution of the sharp prominence on the other side, having noticed it at an early stage when it was like a sharp and unusually bright jagged bit.
