Nexstar SE mount with SW Mak 150?

Hello,
Can a Skywatcher 150 Mak be mounted well, without vibrations, and without the telescope touching the base of the mount, on a Nexstar SE mount, 6"/8" model?

I have the 6/8 SE mount, used with the C8, which probably weighs about the same as the 150mm Mak.  It's adequate as a portable visual mount, but if you want a mount 'without vibrations' you should be looking at something more like a HEQ5.

As for base clearance, I couldn't say, except that the C8 has a balance point near the back end, and the Maks have a balance point more in the middle...
