Upgrade altitude bolts

Wee question I'm looking to update the alt bolts on my heq5 mount. I'm unsure if there enough space for the altitude bolt by the polar scope lens end?  see pics. Plenty space for the other one.  Has anyone else upgraded these and is there adequate space? Im in Glasgow so 55°. Also there must be cheaper alternatives on eBay? It's only a bit of threaded bar with a plastic knob.

I have a set of Alt bolts like THESE, with the ratchet type handle for under the polar scope, and there is enough space (without the polar scope cover) and I'm at nearly 57°N.

I actually cut about 10mm off the North facing bolt to give more clearance from the counter weights.

Hmm think I'd like to keep the polar scope on cover on if possible.
