Sony Alpha 6400

Hi everyone can anyone advise if the Sony Alpha 6400 is any good for astrophotography cheers

It seems okay for the minor test I've done with it but Canon and Nikon tend to be more reliable as in they image as expected. Sony's have the infamous star eater algorithm applied and I don't think you can turn it off, not so much of an issue if you're doing tracked imaging as you can saturate stars onto the sensor so they don't get mistaken for noise. Perhaps avoid Sony full frame cameras, I've used A7Ss and they I wouldn't recommend due to how the sensor is constructed and how it behaves.

The lenses you use will have a bearing on the quality of the images you take too.
