Supernova 1a (mag 12.7) in NGC1222

Discovered 19Jan @m17.6 just now popped up at the top of the Rochester listing with a latest m12.7 report , , ,2024any.... another one that would be in range of my modest dslr+lens if it wasn't for these persistent clouds
In Eridanus, nicely positioned for early evening obs.
