My first moon ring

Recommended Posts

They are actually quite common, at least during the day. But much of the time they are faint and/or incomplete, so not always easy to see unless you look for them. Often in the day the 22 degree is accompanied by sun dogs (or moondogs at night, if the Moon is bright enough) and/or a CZA, so it's worth keeping an eye out for those too, as well as the other halos when you see a 22 degree.
