I’m sure that most seasoned observers will know this, however for those that are new like myself…

I have a AE 9x50 finder on my SW 72 ED. Right from the start I have struggled with aligning the finder with the scope, running out of adjustment.

i have discovered that the mounting shoe on the scope is very slightly out of alignment, maybe a mm or so, but magnified by the length of the finder. I have adjusted as carefully as I can, and now am able to adjust the finder much more easily.

hope this helps anyone with a similar issue.
