Hi All,

I Have shiny new CG5 Goto mount. Problem is the goto doesn't seem to "find" accurately. I've spent hours polar aligning it as best I can but if i get it to find something say Saturn, its way off. By way off i mean not visible in the eyepiece of my Skywatcher Mak90 with 32mm eyepiece.

Question - the alignment routine requires the scope to be set so RA and Dec index marks line up. Is this supposed to align the OTA with the polar axis - because it nearly does but is visibly not aligned.

Any Ideas - Its starting to frustrate me!!
