Richard N
In between watching MaccAstro's online meeting, I set up my scope and got it tracking Arcturus. I told the club members I was tracking and was asked if I had a "feed". As a visual astronomer, the only feed in my garden was for the birds. Meeting over, I did a bit of observing. @Ags book is perfect for early observing in the gloaming (thanks). Eight new doubles down (including a couple of challenging mismatched ones) and I slewed the scope to Altair for an alignment. Nothing. Very odd. I panned around a bit and glanced up. Those pesky clouds had arrived. Not a bad little session under the circumstances. Edited July 26, 2023 by Richard N
