Has anyone done any imaging at Tophill Low in East Yorkshire? It’s a bird sanctuary run by Yorkshire Warter. The warden there says it is open to members after 6pm. He mentioned at least one person does astrophotography on the site. Apparently there’s an area with electricity used by moth catchers. I had a walk round. It will be dark as the nearest settlement of any size is 4 miles away. (That’s where I live!). I wasn’t sure though how to cart gear from a car to a flame outdoor area with an unobstructed horizon or (for a Milky Way shot) to one of the reservoirs. I think the car park would be reasonable though. Hoping to learn more from others who go there.
