Wide angle shot of M51

I was testing my full frame ASI2400MC and decided for a wide angle shot of M51.  Just to give a perspective of it floating in space.

I see a few other small distant galaxies got swept up in the picture.

About 40 minutes of capture from my Orion XT12G Dobsonian

Thanks for the feedback.  That’s always that tradeoff… the dramatic effect of a deep sky object against a fairly dark sky vs bringing out the dimmest of the nebulosity.  I’ll take another look at the data and make sure I didn’t suppress anything interesting.

I am pleased with the full frame ASI2400MC/F3.65 12” scope combo though.  It can really deliver that combo of reasonably wide field, high capture productivity and good resolution (on nights of decent seeing).
