Field flattener for the William Optics Zenithstar 73 OTA

I "thought" i needed this but im just reading astrobackyards review on the WO ZS73 and he mentions "The Flat73 1:1 field flattener is recommended for full-frame astrophotography cameras"

I plan to initially use a D7000 and then down the line, possibly a dedicated camera. So, do i actually need it ???
