Object next to Jupiter?

Just had a quick look at Jupiter through my 70/700 scope and saw an object very close to Jupiter, just passed callisto. It looks cone shaped, almost like a comet with a wide tail traveling away from Jupiter..or like a cone shaped nebula. It's really big though!

I have never seen this before and am wondering if anybody else can see this right now or am I going a little crazy?

I'm using my usual lenses but have an adapter attached so I will remove that and look again. Not going to lie, I got a little nervous as I never saw this before but normally don't use the adapter so guessing that is what may have caused it.

Is this the point where the thread moves to discussions about blackening lens edges, flocking tubes, etc.🤔
I have seen SW tubes best decribed as dark grey and eyepieces/adapters with shiny black internal surfaces.
