M81 and m82

Recommended Posts

Couldn't sleep so up at 4.30 outside was clear and calm after all the wind and rain we've had.

Could have got the dob out but didn't want to wait for it to cool down, images taken resting my phone on the recycling bin.

I tried for M81 and M82 first, the moon was high and the halo was nearly at Mars, not brilliant but can just make out them, the plane ruined the shot.

I then tried for M51 no luck but Mizar as a nice double.
